A west Delhi office blind has one job: make the 2 pm screen usable — without darkening the room past the client's comfort.

The buildings around Wazirpur, Kirti Nagar and Mayapuri were mostly designed for light, not for screens — large factory windows, west-facing frontages and converted cabins where the glare lands on a monitor by two in the afternoon. Office blinds here are not decoration; they are productivity equipment. This is how we specify them across the belt.

Choose the fabric by the direction the window faces

  • East-facing: short harsh sun at open-of-business — a 5% sunscreen roller keeps the morning view and kills the flare
  • West and south: the long afternoon bake — 1–3% openness, and on true glass façades consider dual zebra blinds where staff want privacy on demand too
  • North-facing: steady diffuse light — light-filtering fabrics or even plain rollers; save the sunscreen budget for the problem sides
  • Cabins and meeting rooms: blackout where a projector lives; the blackout guide covers edge-gap options

Mechanism, by window shape

  1. Rows of equal windows: sunscreen rollers with matched stack sides — one motorised bank on a timer if the floor is big; wiring runs are cheap during a fit-out, expensive after carpets
  2. Wide sliding glass: vertical blinds (from ₹45/sq ft) stay the value pick — louvres tilt for light and pull aside for the door
  3. Factory-height windows: motorised is the honest default at 4 m+ — see which motors earn their add-on in the motorised guide
  4. Shops and showrooms: Kirti Nagar's frontages want view-by-day and privacy-by-night — zebra day-night blinds do both without a shutter's dark look

What a floor of windows costs

Commercial blinds price like everything else here: per square foot of fabric, per-window minimums, plus a per-window fitting charge. A 20-window floor of standard 120 × 150 cm openings in office-grade sunscreen typically lands in the ₹1–1.3 lakh range installed — the same maths as the rate card, just repeated efficiently. Send the window list and we quote it per opening; volume averages the minimums down hard.

Fitting around your working hours

Install runs across the belt happen after-hours and on Sundays as standard — bracket drilling in an occupied office is an inconvenience we schedule rather than one you absorb. Lead time from measurement to finished fitting is usually 1–3 weeks, and measurements on regular rows can be batched (we allow for the odd centimetre, per the office guide).

For a quote against your actual glazing plan, or a visit to the swatch wall a few minutes away, our workshop and showroom at Block E, Mangolpuri are open Mon–Sat — or start with the AR self-measure tool and send the list over.
