Privacy Policy

Account information: your name, email address and (optionally) mobile number when you create an account or sign in.

Order information: delivery and billing addresses, order history, measurements you provide for made-to-measure products, and communication preferences.

Payment information: payments are processed by our payment partner (Razorpay). We do not store your full card, UPI or bank details on our servers; we only retain transaction references needed to fulfil and support your order.

Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies to keep the site secure and working correctly.

When you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares a limited set of profile information with us based on the scopes you approve. We request only the basic, non-sensitive scopes: your email address, basic profile information (such as your name and profile picture) and your Google account identifier (the standard "email", "profile" and "openid" scopes).

We use this information solely to create and authenticate your account, to identify you when you return, to pre-fill your name and email, and to contact you about your account and orders.

We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other restricted or sensitive Google data.

To create, secure and manage your account.

To process, fulfil and deliver your orders, including scheduling installations.

To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries.

To send transactional messages such as order confirmations, delivery updates and service notifications.

To improve our website, products and services, and to keep our platform secure and prevent fraud or abuse.

To comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

BlindsBazaar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We use Google user data only to provide and improve the sign-in and account features you request. We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve these features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with appropriate protections. We do not allow humans to read this data unless we have your consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymised.

Service providers: we share information with trusted partners who help us operate the business — for example payment processing (Razorpay), logistics and delivery partners, cloud hosting, email/SMS delivery and analytics — strictly to perform services on our behalf.

Legal and safety: we may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users or others.

Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your information may be transferred subject to this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your information is stored on secured servers and transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing and are never kept in plain text.

We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and continuously improve our controls.

We retain personal information only for as long as needed to provide our services, meet legal, accounting and tax requirements, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When no longer required, data is deleted or anonymised.

You can access and update your account information at any time from your account page.

You can request a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, or request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below, subject to legal retention requirements.

You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access does not delete data already stored under your account; contact us to request deletion.

Our services are intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
