Kitchen Blinds in Delhi NCR: The Wipe-Clean Guide (2026)

A kitchen blind has one enemy: cooking film. Choose the cloth that lets you win daily.
Kitchens are the hardest room for window treatments in an Indian home: steam, oil film and a hob within arm's reach of the glass. The right answer is short — a sealed, smooth roller fabric that wipes, or a light zebra where the kitchen doubles as a dining space.
Why roller fabric wins in kitchens
- Smooth woven rollers wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap — oil film is a weekly wipe, not a restoration project
- Slats and deep textures are the wrong tool — every groove collects the film, and cleaning a kitchen full of louvers is a lost weekend
- Zebra suits open kitchens where the room also eats — day-and-night control from one pull, same wipe-clean discipline
Light-filtering fabric from ₹100/sq ft and light-coloured sunscreen weaves from ₹110 are the practical picks — GST included, 10 sq ft minimum per window. See the price guide for the full table.
Measuring a kitchen window
- Clear the sill and the hob zone first — a blind that hangs over a working burner is a safety problem, not a style choice; keep fabric away from direct flame and pan heat
- Above the sink, measure the recess at three points as always — use the measuring guide or the AR tool
- If the window is behind the wash area, choose outside mount so splashes land on the wall, not a fabric edge inside the frame
Three kitchen configurations that work
- Standard kitchen window: light-filtering roller, inside mount, from ₹1,200 for a 3×4 ft window — bright, private, wipes clean
- Open kitchen with a dining table: zebra blind — daylight at lunch, privacy at clean-up; from ₹1,440 at the same size
- West-facing kitchen blaze: sunscreen roller — it cuts the 2 pm heat before it reaches the room, and the view stays partly open
Every fabric's exact rate for your exact size is on the roller blinds page — the configurator shows the price before checkout. In Delhi NCR, a free site measurement is bookable across the city, and the Block E, Mangolpuri showroom keeps kitchen-standard fabrics on the rail to judge in person, Mon–Sat 10am–7pm.
