How to Compare Blinds Prices Online in India (2026 Checklist)

A cheap quote and a good quote look identical until you ask what is inside them.
Every online blinds store shows a per-sq-ft number; almost none of them mean the same thing. Two quotes for the same window can differ by 40% and both be "correct" — so compare these seven lines, not the headline rate.
1. What the per-sq-ft rate actually covers
A rate can include fabric, tube, mechanism, brackets and GST — or none of the last four. Ask for the all-in, delivered, installed number per window before comparing anything.
2. Fabric grade, not just price
Roller fabrics run from light-filtering basics to premium collections. Take our own range: roller blinds from ₹100/sq ft with most fabrics ₹100–₹130 and premium collections up to ₹250 — that spread is fabric, not markup. Compare quotes at the same opacity (both blackout, both sunscreen) or you are comparing different products. See the ranges side by side in the 2026 price guide.
3. The minimum billable area
Small windows are billed on a floor — 10 sq ft per blind is the standard we use, and it is why a 2×3 ft window does not cost ₹600. A quote that omits its minimum is hiding a step increase.
4. GST, in or out
"₹100/sq ft" plus 18% at checkout is ₹118. Ours is included in the displayed price, with a tax invoice that itemises the CGST/SGST. Make every quote state it.
5. Who measures, and who pays if it is wrong
Self-measure with a guide or AR tool shifts the risk to you; a free site measurement in Delhi NCR shifts it to the seller. Know which one a cheap quote is built on.
6. Installation and warranty, in writing
Own installation team or hourly fitter? Three-year fabric-mechanism-motor warranty or verbal reassurance? These are the two lines that decide what the second year of ownership costs.
7. What happens on a remake
Sizes get entered by humans. Ask what a remake costs if the mistake is theirs — and watch for the answer "it never happens".
Sanity-check against a real rate
For reference, 2026 rates at BlindsBazaar: roller from ₹100/sq ft, zebra ₹120–₹190, GST included, typical 4×5 ft window fully made and installed at roughly ₹2,000–₹2,600 (roller, standard fabric) and ₹2,400–₹3,800 (zebra). Put your own sizes into the roller or zebra configurator and you will see every line item the quote is built from.
