West Delhi windows are DDA-standard on paper and nothing-standard in practice. That difference is the whole price conversation.

West Delhi is the heartland of the DDA flat and the self-built house — window openings that look repeated across a block but measure different once paint, tiles and settled plaster get in the way. That is exactly why pricing here is done per square foot with a per-window floor, not by a size chart. Here is what blinds actually cost across Pitampura, Rohini, Janakpuri, Dwarka and our own Mangolpuri.

The rate card (per sq ft, starting grade)

Every blind below is made to your exact width and drop at our Block E, Mangolpuri workshop, then fitted by our own team across west Delhi. Premium fabrics and linings step the rate up; the mechanism does not change it.

  • PVC: from ₹18/sq ft — bathroom and utility windows
  • Vertical: from ₹45/sq ft — wide balcony runs and shops
  • Venetian: from ₹120/sq ft — tilt control, aluminium or wood
  • Roller: from ₹175/sq ft — the everyday workhorse
  • Zebra (day-night): from ₹185/sq ft — light and privacy on one chain
  • Roman: from ₹190/sq ft — tailored fabric folds
  • Blackout: from ₹195/sq ft — bedroom darkness
  • Motorised: from ₹220/sq ft plus a flat motor add-on per blind
  • Honeycomb: from ₹240/sq ft — insulating cells for top floors
  • Wooden: from ₹260/sq ft — real basswood slats

Worked examples for typical west Delhi windows

Most flats around Pitampura, Rohini and Janakpuri repeat the same three shapes:

  1. Bedroom window (about 120 × 150 cm): roughly 21 sq ft — a blackout roller at ₹195 lands near ₹4,100; a zebra at ₹185 near ₹3,900
  2. Living-room pair or wide window (about 180 × 150 cm): around 29 sq ft — roller ₹5,100ish, wooden ₹7,500ish in one panel or two on one headrail
  3. Small bathroom window: under 10 sq ft, so it bills at the 10 sq ft minimum — PVC from ₹180, a roller from ₹1,750

A standard three-bedroom flat across Dwarka sectors or Janakpuri blocks — five or six windows — typically lands between ₹25,000 and ₹45,000 fully fitted in mid-grade fabric. The full per-sq-ft logic is in the rate card guide.

What installation adds

Fitting is charged per window, not per foot — on DDA concrete lintels that means masonry anchors and, occasionally, longer fixings. Our west Delhi installs run on scheduled routes: a Rohini or Pitampura order usually gets a fitting slot inside the 1–3 week production window, batched so the whole flat goes in one visit.

Why we are cheaper here than the market suggests

Because the workshop is in the middle of your area — Block E, Mangolpuri, minutes from Pitampura and Model Town — there is no dealer margin and no long-haul transport in the price. Walk in with your window list, feel the fabrics, and get the quote per window before committing; the AR self-measure tool does the same maths if you prefer ordering from the sofa.

Area-specific notes — housing stock, common window problems and install patterns — are on the locality pages: Pitampura, Rohini, Janakpuri, Dwarka and Mangolpuri.
