Blinds Near Me in Delhi NCR: How to Compare Shops vs Online (2026)

Ask every seller the same eight questions — including us. The answers sort themselves.
"Blinds near me" answers with brick-and-mortar — the shops within a few kilometres of your pin code. That is a fair start, but it hides the real question: which kind of seller is right for your window? Here is how to compare them in one afternoon, without paying for the lessons later.
What local search actually returns
Three kinds of seller show up, and they are not selling the same thing: the neighbourhood curtain-and-blinds shop (some stock sizes, some custom), the wholesale market stall (bundled offers, buyer-beware mechanisms), and the manufacturer-owned outlet (made-to-measure cutting at factory pricing). The fourth option — an online made-to-measure store with its own local installation team — rarely appears on the map pack, and is worth adding to the comparison.
Eight questions that separate shops
- Who measures? A seller who measures accepts responsibility for fit. You-carry-the-risk sellers are cheaper until the blind arrives 5 mm wrong.
- Custom-cut or stock sizes trimmed? Stock sizes trimmed to fit still have the light gap; a cut-to-size blind does not.
- How do you fix a street-facing bedroom's side light? The right answer is outside-mount overlap and a light-blocking channel — not "buy blackout fabric".
- Whose mechanism, and what warranty — in writing? A 3-year written warranty on fabric, mechanism and motor is the industry benchmark worth asking every seller to match.
- Who installs? The shop's own team, or an hourly handyman who has never seen the product? Ask about damage policy either way.
- Is GST included in the quote, with a proper invoice? Prices that "look cheap" then grow at checkout are the oldest trick in the market.
- If a size is wrong, whose cost? Get the answer before you pay, not after.
- Can I operate the mechanism before I order? A showroom where you can pull a chain, run a cordless lift and feel the fabric is worth ten photographs.
Online + local installation: the fourth option
An online made-to-measure store should hand you: a way to measure properly (AR tool or the measuring guide, or a booked site visit), a per-window quote in minutes, installation by its own team in your area, a GST-included price with a tax invoice, and a written warranty. That combination is exactly our model: our own workshop and showroom at Block E, Mangolpuri, fitting by our own team — not contractors — across Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and Faridabad, with a 3-year warranty on fabric, mechanism and motor.
What a fair price looks like in 2026
Roller blinds from ₹100/sq ft (most fabrics ₹100–₹130), zebra blinds ₹120–₹190, GST included, with a 10 sq ft minimum per blind. A standard 4×5 ft window: roughly ₹2,000–₹2,600 in a standard roller fabric, ₹2,400–₹3,800 in zebra. If a near-me quote is far below that, ask what fabric and what mechanism — the full tables are in the 2026 price guide to sanity-check any quote, including ours.
Our service areas, area by area
Installation coverage is the part "near me" gets right: Mangolpuri, Pitampura, Rohini, Dwarka, Noida and Gurugram all have locality pages with local specifics — the full list is on the service-area hub. Every one of them is fitted by the same team and priced from the same rate card.
Come work the mechanisms in person at Block E, Mangolpuri (Mon–Sat, 10am–7pm), or start online with the AR tool and have your windows priced against the price guide in minutes. Questions are answered by the same people who make the blinds.
