The three sizes that matter

• 3×4 ft (12 sq ft) — bathroom, small bedroom: roller from ₹1,200; zebra from ₹1,440
• 4×5 ft (20 sq ft) — the standard bedroom window: roller from ₹2,000 (₹2,000–₹2,600 in most fabrics); zebra from ₹2,400 (₹2,400–₹3,800 across the range)
• 5×6 ft (30 sq ft) — living room and master bedroom: roller from ₹3,000; zebra from ₹3,600

Why small windows have a floor

Cutting, hardware and fabrication cost the same whether a blind is large or tiny, so windows under the 10 sq ft minimum billable area are billed as 10 sq ft. A 2×3 ft window is billed like a 10 sq ft one — not because the fabric is expensive, but because the blind is not cheaper to make.
