A good fitting looks like nothing happened. That is the point.

Installation is where a beautiful order becomes a working object — and where corner-cutting becomes visible for years. Here is the visit done right, so you know what to expect and what to ask.

Before the drill comes out

  1. The unboxing check: fabric, size and mechanism against the order, with you watching — a mismatch caught here costs a conversation, not a remake
  2. Wall and recess review: plaster quality, hidden wiring (the installer asks about switch points), the recess squareness that decides final bracket placement
  3. The cover-up: drop sheets under the work zone — the mark of a team that expects to be invited back

The fitting itself

  • Brackets: placed per the measured marks, with anchors rated for the blind's weight; outside-mount brackets spaced so the tube never bows on wide blinds
  • Level and the gap check: the blind is levelled across the opening, then run fully down while you watch the side gaps and the sill line — this is the moment to speak up; zero-cost now, a visit later
  • Chain anchoring: the cord's safety anchor fixed per the instructions, and its low point checked against the tallest child in the house
  • Motorised blinds: remote pairing, travel limits set at your wall (not to a factory default), and the schedule app walked through on your phone

The three-minute handover that matters

  1. How to operate gently: one controlled pull, never yanking a chain mid-travel
  2. The cleaning line: damp microfibre, mild soap, single passes — and what never to use on a blackout coating
  3. What is warranty and what is not: the fabric-mechanism-motor cover, and the phone number that answers it

Logistics, honestly

Most blinds fit inside an hour per window; a full home is a scheduled half-day. Installation across Delhi NCR is by our own team — no third-party fitters — with after-hours and weekend slots routine for offices. The price of all of it is inside each blind's displayed rate (from ₹100/sq ft roller, ₹120–₹190 zebra, GST included); there is no separate "fitting charge" on the invoice at the end. Book the slot with the order, or walk the plan through at Block E, Mangolpuri first — contact details here.
