What blackout fabric costs

Blackout rollers start at ₹130/sq ft in our range, GST included — a step above light-filtering fabrics (from ₹100) because the blackout coating is an extra production pass on the cloth. What blackout fabric does not fix

Light is patient. It comes around the sides of the blind, through the gap at the top and up from the sill — which is why a blackout fabric on an inside-mount blind still leaves a room dim, not dark. The upgrade that finishes the job is coverage, not cloth:

• Outside mount with overlap — 3 inches past the opening each side, 4 inches above
• Side channels or a cassette — physical barriers for street-facing bedrooms
